After the impressive commemorations of the 80th anniversary of D-Day, this 81st edition was more intimate, but no less charged with meaning and emotion.
Overlord Historical Days once again brought together history buffs, curious visitors and families to celebrate remembrance in an atmosphere that was both festive and respectful.
Despite the capricious weather, the public turned out in force, braving the showers to watch dynamic demonstrations of vintage military vehicles, salute the American veterans in attendance, stroll through the village of exhibitors and enjoy a concert of liberty.
This year’s event was all about sharing and passion, proving that the flame of remembrance is still alive and well.
