For the third year running, Overlord Museum, in association with the Best Defence Foundation, welcomes 60 American veterans. This year’s event is of particular significance, as it is dedicated to the theme of transmission and heritage. Throughout the day, the veterans will be accompanied by children from a local school.
At 10 a.m., the veterans will arrive at the Museum and be welcomed by the children.
At around 3.30pm, in association with the MVCG, the veterans and children will parade in vintage vehicles to Omaha Beach.
There may be an opportunity for the public to meet the veterans.
