Overlord Museum – Omaha Beach is proud to present its Overlord Historical Days, scheduled from June 1 to 9, 2024, around the museum. This week of events and tributes aims to celebrate with dignity the operation that changed the course of history 80 years ago, the Allied Landing in Normandy.
The event will feature a wide range of activities, including:
– concerts by the D-Day Ladies and Mam’zelle Bee and the Boyz
– a Lindy-Hop dance class
– a re-enactment camp
– a village of exhibitors
– a screening of the film Little Black Devils, From Juno to Putot
– the visit of 60 American veterans with the Best Defence Foundation
– a static display of 350 vehicles from the MVCG association
– demonstrations of period vehicles in dynamic evolution
