Bradley Reenactment Camp

09:00 - 19:00

Our Bradley re-enactment camp will welcome nearly a hundred re-enactors.

There will be different groups:

One group of USAAF re-enactors will represent a complete field hospital! They’ll set up 21 tents, and have period vehicles, including ambulances, parked in the camp. To make the experience even more authentic, the re-enactors will have a “grave registration service” station. These members were responsible for recovering, identifying, transporting and preparing the burial of deceased U.S. and U.S.-allied servicemen.

What’s also interesting here is the important part played by the WASPs, with mention of the USAAF flight nurses.

One of the groups of re-enactors will represent the tankers, including some American light armored vehicles.

A group of British re-enactors with two British army tanks. A Sherman Firefly with an English 17-pounder gun and an Achilles tank based on a TDM10 destroyer tank with a 17-pounder gun. The only gun to rival the Panther 75 mm.

These groups of re-enactors have a passion for the history of the Second World War that drives them to be thorough. They pay meticulous attention to historical detail. Costumes, artifacts and practices are of the highest quality, and as close as possible to historical veracity.

By scrupulously respecting historical accuracy, the camp offers visitors an entertaining, authentic and educational experience, enhancing their understanding of history.
